Nokia 6555 iSync Plugin

I just got a Nokia 6555 phone and Leopard's iSync didn't support it. So, I did what any respectable computer nerd would do and wrote a plugin myself. Here's the download page.

Displayutil Version 0.03

Release early, release often. Here's another release of displayutil (hopefully the last release for a while). This release fixes a show-stopper bug and a few multiple monitor setup bugs. I'd also just like to thank everyone for the feedback I've been receiving. Don't hesitate to e-mail me if you have issues. Enjoy.

  • Fixed show-stopper issues with some PPC machines
  • Fixed display would not stay in new mode issue
  • Much better support for multiple displays

Displayutil Version 0.02

Version 0.02 is a complete rewrite of the original. This version includes multiple enhancements including a universal binary. Due to an unexpected response (over 600 downloads in 12 hours), I've decided to rush this release, so it's a bit buggy. The feature list follows. Enjoy.

  • Complete rewrite
  • Multiple displays (very buggy)
  • Best mode searching
  • Listing display modes (usable and not usable GUI modes)
  • Exact resolution and bit depth enforcement
  • Usage message
  • Universal binary (10.4+)

Displayutil Initial Release

I just threw together a small utility for changing screen resolution in Mac OS X (Intel only for now) on the command line in Terminal.app. Currently it only supports the main monitor, but the next release will support multiple monitors and will list the available resolutions for each, among other things. You can download this initial release here.
